Friday 18th August
Pah Homestead, Auckland

Artist Talk and celebration of the exhibition

What becomes of bodily senses traversing the physically wild and the artificially contained?
Textures of schist and tussock rise up over mountain tors, datafied spaces mapped.
In a barren chalky landscape a range of motions for technical capture are rediscovered.

Complimenting the exhibition, this is an opportunity to meet the artists and hear about their process of inter-disciplinary collaboration across media and places. Russell Scoones, Carol Brown, Ruth Gibson & Bruno Martelli (via skype) will be in discussion with artist-academic Dr Alys Longley.
